Lola-Lolita personally knew the great Latvian singer Nora Bumbiere, but did not expect that she would ever perform songs from her repertoire. In addition to the well-known schlagers of Raymond Pauls, Nora wanted to sing jazz, rock and soul ... She had a treasured book of her favorite poems by the Latvian poet Janis Plotnieks and Nora, who was looking for a composer who could catch the motives of a new songs so that she could bring in the traditions of Latvian folklore new modern sound. Having fulfilled her mission in the group of R. Pauls, Nora Bumbiere decided to create her own ensemble of original music. She's got e recommended about a young and talented musician, famous guitarist Valery Belinov (Val Belin) in Riga. Agreeing to lead a new ensemble, Valery wrote a series of songs on the lyricks of Plotnieks and dedicated it to Nora. With the new program, the "Test" group immediately reached the philharmonic level having successfully passed the exam in front of the commission of the Ministry of Culture of Latvia. The team managed to tour for several months. By a strange coincidence, after Brezhnev’s death, all last year’s acts were canceled and the group was disbanded. In the future, the fate of this period, Nora Bumbiere's did not work out.

In Eastern Europe, the Latvian stage has always been popular. Lola never competed with famous singers such as Laima Vaikule or Mirdza Zivere. Together with the former guitarist of the band Modo Igor Novikov, she organized the rock band Rebel, which gained international recognition and aroused a fading interest in rock among a wide audience.
